Arts & Entertainment Near Garner, NC


Seating 170 guests, this 40 x 60-foot black-box experimental theater fuses intimacy with energy, the deeply personal with the universal theater experience. Named after KD & Sara Lynn Kennedy, this place has not disappointed the Raleigh community.


The Lichtin Plaza is a beautiful two-acre venue fronting the Progress Energy Center. It serves as a venue for festivals, gatherings, and tented social functions. It was named for Harold Lichtin, a prominent commercial real estate developer in the Triangle.


This black box theatre is dedicated solely to new works. Its priority is audiences, patrons, performers, writers and students. Moonlight Stage is focused on bringing fresh new material, such as theatre, improv, original music, stand up comedy, and writer's theatre to the stage that will be for the enjoyment of live entertainment and to celebrate and teach about our humanity and creativity.


The Meymandi Concert Hall is a 1700-seat venue home featuring a 65-ft ceiling, unique shoe box shape, narrow sides, shallow balconies and lack of proscenium. All work together to deliver the warmest, clearest and immersive sound experience possible. It’s located on the west side of the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.


Founded in 1941, Chamber Music presents 12 concerts on two series. Visiting ensembles include the Jerusalem Quartet, American Chamber Players, Concertante, William Chapman Nyaho, Rachel Barton Pine and the Daedalus Quartet. The mission of Chamber Music Raleigh is to enrich and connect individuals in the greater Raleigh community through intimate and exceptional chamber music experiences.


Raleigh Memorial Auditorium is an architectural complement to the North Carolina State Capitol at the other end of Fayetteville Street. After receiving minor improvements in 1963 and 1977, it was extensively renovated in 1990, notably with the addition of an external concourse and lobby. Seating 2,277, it most often hosts large musical theater productions.
